Challenge

Signal was a Chicago-based SaaS company offering a market-leading Customer Data and Tag Management platform. Signal entered into a local joint venture with Flybuys to create an addressable media solution.

They required a talent partner with a deep network of AdTech talent to allow them to scale quickly. We needed to work closely with the HR team in the USA, in addition to the global executive leadership team. The goal was to create a strategy and approach that drove cohesion and transparency between the existing business and new venture whilst securing the best talent.


Action

  • Embedded ourselves into the Signal office in Melbourne and led all talent acquisition from end to end as part of an ongoing two-day-a-week arrangement

  • Built a shared “Talent Hub” that allowed the global team real-time access to all live search activity.

  • Took the Signal brand to market and built a talent pipeline across Melbourne and Sydney for multiple concurrent hires

  • Led a project to personality profile the team to ensure a balanced and inclusive hiring strategy.

  • Reviewed and made recommendations to localise several employment documents.


Results

  • Placed 19 roles across Melbourne and Sydney, including;

    • Enterprise Sales, Agency Sales, Programmatic Trading/Ops, Customer Success, Agency Account Management, Product Marketing, Solutions Consulting, Office Support, Finance/Ops.

  • Savings of $308,230 (compared to traditional recruitment fees)

  • Built and engaged a talent map of 1211 people across the different job verticals.

  • The project extended from initial 3-month consultation to a sixteen-month engagement.
